🔎 What Makes These Quarters Special?

Collectors call them Type B Reverse Washington Quarters, and they have two important features that set them apart:

  1. Lettering in “STATES”
    • Look closely at the word STATES on the reverse (back) of the coin.
    • On Type B quarters, there’s a clear space between the “E” and the “S”.
  2. Leaf & “A” in DOLLAR
    • Check the word DOLLAR.
    • On Type B quarters, one of the leaf tips touches the “A” in DOLLAR.
